December was the month for the Third Grade to display their work on the Church wall. They chose to do a few holydays in December. The first was December 6, the Feast of St. NIcholas. December 9 is the Feast of Juan Diego. Mary appeared to Juan in Guadalupe, Mexico. Our Lady of Guadalupe is celebrated on December 12. On December 16 through December 24, Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem...Las Posadas. Lastly, was The Nativity, which we celebrate on December 25, Our Lord Jesus Christ's Birthday.
